Transportation

Our goal is to safely transport your child(ren) to and from school. We look forward to working with parents/guardians to achieve this goal. The Transportation Department has updated the Walk Zones that can be found here.

TRANSACT/BUSQUEST

TransAct is the new online portal for parents to view their students busing information, including number, bus stop location, and schedule.  All opting in and out for busing is done on this website. You must have an active email address in Skyward in order to gain access to this.  Instructions on how to access this site are located here and you may log in to TransAct here.

Parents must have an email in Skyward to do the following:

  • All K-8 students who do not live in a walk-zone are automatically assigned to a bus.  We ask that parents log in to TransAct to opt out of transportation if they are going to drive their students to school.
  • All GHS students must opt-in for transportation or they will not be assigned to a bus.  Parents must do this on the TransAct website.
  • Download the BusQuest app to track your student’s bus in real-time. Log-in information is the same for TransAct.

Important:  If your child is picked up or dropped off at an address different from your home address in Skyward, you must contact transportation.

There are several services that we provide, such as late buses from GJHS for athletes and other extracurricular participants. For more specifics on these special services, please contact our office.
