Transfer Request Forms

Use this form if you would like to transfer into Goshen Schools for the 2024/25 school year.

2024/25 School Year Transfer Form

This Transfer form is for:

• Students who want to enroll in Goshen Community Schools through an out-of-district transfer (meaning they live outside of the GCS district, for example in Elkhart, Middlebury, etc.)
• Or, an elementary school student who would like to attend an elementary school that is not their home district (for example, a student who lives in Roxbury, whose neighborhood school is Waterford, but would like to attend Model.)

**This is NOT an enrollment form. If you are transferring into the district from another school district, you still need to complete the enrollment process.

Transfer forms need to be completed every year.

GCS Process for Transfer Requests

• The Transfer Request window for the 2024-25 school year was opened on March 1, 2024. On June 1, 2024, the Transfer Request window CLOSES to allow time to process requests.
• Families who made requests will be notified by July 1, 2024, regarding approval or denial.
• Transfer requests made after June 1, 2024, will be held until after the start of the 2024-25 school year for further consideration.
• Please note that if any of the information on the transfer request is inaccurate, the transfer will be revoked.
