As we approach the graduation of the Goshen High School Class of 2026, we are excited to celebrate this important milestone with your student and family. Graduation will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and we look forward to making this a memorable experience for all.
Graduation Rehearsal (Mandatory)
All students must attend rehearsal in order to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026
Time: 9:45 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: GHS Cafeteria
Students must bring their school ID to enter the building.
Schedule for the Day:
● 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM: Elementary Walkthrough and Lunch
● 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Graduation Rehearsal
Students should report to GHS by 9:45 AM. Buses will depart promptly at 10:00 AM for the elementary walkthrough. Following this event, students will return for a catered lunch and participate in the required rehearsal. This is a full-day, mandatory event. Students should bring their cap and gown for the walkthrough. Any decorated caps must be brought for approval on this day.
Senior Awards Night (Optional)
Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM (line-up at 6:45 PM in the cafeteria) in Interra Gym
A Baccalaureate Ceremony will be held at 6:00 PM prior to awards (arrival by 5:45 PM).
Students should wear their cap and gown.
Graduation Ceremony
Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM
GHS Football Field (rain plan: Interra Gym)
Graduates must report to Interra Gym no later than 5:30 PM. Professional photos will be available from 4:00–5:15 PM. The ceremony will also be live streamed, with details shared via ParentSquare.
Tickets:
Each graduate will receive five tickets beginning May 7, 2026. Students may request up to four additional tickets. These additional tickets are for the outdoor ceremony only and will not be valid if weather causes the ceremony to be moved inside. Tickets must be picked up in advance; they will not be distributed at the gate.
Important Reminders
Dress Code:
Students should wear appropriate dress attire under their gowns. Jeans, flip-flops, and spiked heels are not permitted.
Ceremony Expectations:
Cell phones must be on silent and out of sight during the ceremony. No texting or photos during the event.
Cap and Regalia:
Caps may be decorated but must be approved. Only school-sponsored or military regalia may be worn.
Fees and Materials:
All outstanding school fees must be paid by May 29 at 3:00 PM. Laptops must be returned by rehearsal day.
Accessibility:
If your family requires handicapped seating, please contact the school as soon as possible. Seating is limited.
Guest Guidelines:
Due to space limitations, guests are not permitted to bring balloons, flowers, large items, airhorns, umbrellas, and strollers. These items will not be allowed to enter the ceremony area.
Final Notes
Students must meet all graduation requirements in order to participate in the ceremony. Diplomas will be distributed in the cafeteria immediately following graduation. We appreciate your support in helping make this event meaningful and organized for all students and families. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
