Goshen High School Head Football Coach Transition

Goshen, IN – Goshen Community Schools announces that Joey Hecklinski will be stepping down as Head Football Coach at Goshen High School as he transitions from education into the private sector. Coach Hecklinski worked diligently during his two-year head coaching tenure to strengthen and grow the Goshen High School football program, and he leaves it well-positioned for continued success.
“We are grateful to Coach Hecklinski for his leadership and the positive impact he has made on our students and football program,” said Jim Pickard, GHS Athletic Director. “He has invested deeply in our athletes both on and off the field, and we wish him the very best as he begins this next chapter in his professional journey.”
The Goshen High School Athletic Department is working closely with district administration to post the head football coach position in the coming days. The district is committed to conducting a thorough search process to identify a leader who will continue to build on the foundation of the program and support the success of student-athletes.
