At GCS, we serve more than 6,200 students and are recognized for our ability to bridge school and community. The academic, extracurricular, and cultural diversity of our schools provides students with options and experiences not available elsewhere. With excellent programs such as Gifted and Talented, English as a New Language (ENL) and the Special Education Cooperative, GCS is able to meet the needs of all students.

Located in northern Indiana, our proximity to Chicago and Indianapolis offers metropolitan amenities within a smaller community environment.

GCS Highlights

The International Baccalaureate Organization has approved Goshen High School’s application to offer the IB diploma program beginning in the fall of 2008.  This two year program will provide junior and senior students with advanced courses in six academic areas. 

The GMS choirs and orchestras received the ESPIRIT DE CORPS award for outstanding professionalism, musicianship, and citizenship at the performance and in the park.  This is the 2^nd time GMS has received this award.

GMS and GHS Orchestra teacher, Mrs. Ellington has received the "Elizabeth H. Green School Educator Award."

Daniel Driver and Rose Byler have been named National Merit Semifinalists for 2008. GCS once again leads the county with the most semifinalists.
