A Prairie View Story (contributed)
Last year on May 23rd my daughter, Amarah Haines, was hit by a car on County Road 40 after school. Luckily, she only received bumps and bruises and is a normal, happy 7 year old today. The Prairie View staff as a whole was so incredibly caring for our little girl. They went out of their way to make sure that she could be a part of Kindergarten graduation and field day. They let us come into school and help Amarah get around comfortably so that she didn’t miss out on any of those precious memories. Her teacher, Mrs. Baldwin, was a real blessing during that time. Her genuine care and concern for Amarah was really a great display of the impact that the students have on the teachers. It’s so comforting as a parent to know that when you send your children to school every day, they are cared for and looked after with love. The staff at Prairie View really made one of the worst week’s of our lives a little easier.
Thank you,
