The GHS boys soccer team had a season for the ages, finishing with a record of 20-2-1 and a state championship! The boys team won sectionals at Northridge, regionals at Mishawaka, semi-state at Warsaw, and the state championship against Brebeuf Jesuit, played on the soccer field at IUPUI in Indianapolis. The team surrendered only one goal during their state tournament run, and finished with six straight shutouts, including three overtime games. The state championship was the first for Goshen High School in 26 years, and was celebrated throughout the community upon the team’s return to Goshen.
