  • Goshen Community Schools places the highest priority on the safety and well-being of our students and staff. In accordance with Indiana law, all schools in the district regularly conduct safety drills to ensure that everyone is prepared to respond calmly and effectively in the event of an emergency.

Throughout the school year, each building practices a variety of drills, including evacuation/fire, severe weather, and lockdown drills. These exercises are designed to familiarize students and staff with safety procedures and to support a culture of readiness and care across our district.

Our schools work closely with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency management agencies to review and refine our safety practices on an ongoing basis.

Feeling hopeless, helpless, or depressed can result in extreme emotional pain and desperation. Sometimes these feelings result in thoughts of suicide, but it is important to let the person with these thoughts know that there is help and hope. If you or anyone you know is having suicidal thoughts, talk to a trusted adult or call 988.
