Mrs Ellington joined the Goshen Community Schools as Orchestra Director in August, 1996. She received her B. S. Music Educaion -Elon College, Elon College, NC and M. A. Education - Furman University, Greenville, SC. She completed .Post Graduate Studies in Supervision/Curriculum Development - Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC.

Professional Activities: Past-President of Indiana Chapter- ASTA With NSOA;IN ASTA Newsletter Editor; ISSMA Board - Concert Committee. Former member of ASTA National Task Force; Clinician for numerous teacher workshops nationwide; Articles in the IMEA MUSICATOR and Hawaii MEA, as well as inclusion of materials in the MENC Teaching Strategies for National Music Standards for String Education. Under her direction Goshen High School Symphonic Orchestra has qualified for ISSMA State Finals in 1998. 1999 and 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005 (Third Place).

Mrs. Roemke joined the Goshen Community Schools as Orchestra Director in 2001. She received her

B. S.in music education from Ball State University and her M. A. in Education from Indiana Wesleyan.

Professional Activities: Private Viola and Violin Teacher and performer with the Elkhart Symphony Orchestra,

Professional Organizations: Music Educators National Conference, Indiana Music Educators Association, American String Teachers Association, Sigma Alpha Iota.
