2013 eRate RFP

Goshen Community Schools additional information for USAC, e-rate form 470s in regards to internal connections at Chamberlain Elementary, Chandler Elementary and West Goshen Elementary. Contracts will be conditional on e-rate funding.

We prefer separate bids for each project. Please include in your bid what portions “are”, “are not”, or “are partially” e-rate eligible. We expect a project e-rate discount of ??%.

Project #1 Network Switching:

1. Core switch stack for each building (3 total) must consist of the following:
   1. 1 of Cisco WS-C3750X-48T-E Switch
   2. 3 of Cisco WS-C3750X-12S-E Switches
   3. 2 of Cisco C3KX-NM-10G Modules
   4. 2 of 10Gb Long Rang LC SFP’s
   5. 4 of 1Gb SX MM SFP’s
   6. 1 of Extra redundant power supply for 3750X switch series
   7. 4 of StackPower cables
   8. 4 of Stackwise cables

2. Edge switches in classrooms are not required to be Cisco

3. Edge switches must be able to trunk with Cisco core switches and present trunk ports for our Meraki AP’s.

4. Chandler Elementary will require the following edge switches:
   1. 28 of 8 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   2. 2 of 24 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   3. 30 SX MM SFP modules for above switches

5. Chamberlain Elementary will require the following edge switches:
   1. 24 of 8 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   2. 2 of 24 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   3. 1 of 48 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   4. 27 SX MM SFP modules for above switches

6. West Goshen Elementary will require the following edge switches:
   1. 30 of 8 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   2. 2 of 24 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   3. 1 of 48 port Gb switches with at least 1 SFP port
   4. 33 SX MM SFP modules for above switches

Project #2 Phone system upgrades:

1. Vendor must be able to be on site in Goshen, IN within 1 hour

2. Vendor must be an authorized and certified Samsung reseller and installer

3. West Goshen Elementary
